Gift Aid your donation and boost it by 25%

Just ticking the Gift Aid box when making your donation will enable Hope Spring  to claim tax back on eligible donations. We use PayPal to collect donations, if you tick the Gift Aid box, PayPal will automatically collect an extra 25% tax relief from HMRC. In pounds and pence, that means  for every £1 you donate, we can claim back 25p at no extra cost to you.

How to Gift Aid your donation

  1. When you reach the donation page, look for the Gift Aid section.
  2. Tick the box that says “Yes, apply Gift Aid to my donation.”
  3. Review the declaration confirming that you are a UK taxpayer and that you understand the terms.

Will Gift Aid be applied automatically to future donations?

Yes, if you select Gift Aid during your first donation, it will be automatically applied to any future donations unless you cancel it.

How can I cancel Gift Aid for future donations?

If you no longer want to apply Gift Aid, you can update your preferences in your PayPal account settings or contact the charity directly.
